Step up your drawing with local artist and educator Tamara Beale in a 4 session course designed to engage young artists aged 10-14years.About this Event
This is a short course for young artists aged between 10years and 14 years.
The sessions will run over 4 consecutive Mondays from 4pm - 5:15pm beginning Monday, 23rd February.
Course overview:
- Building a composition using collage techniques
- planning a drawing from a reference image
- proportion - how to make it "look right"
- creating depth using tone
- layering with pencil (colour and graphite)
- create emphasis by combining colour and grey tones
Every student will receive an art pack containing:
- 24pk Faber Castel pencils
- 2B pencil
- Eraser
- ruler
- Art paper
- mount frame
