Cost*: $125 for the full 5-part class, $50 for double class-- Pre-registration required, materials not included

This multi-session studio class will help you improve your skills in drawing and painting. The series of open-studio art classes will give you the chance to practice with various materials and build up your skills. We will work with graphite, charcoal and acrylic to complete multiple fine-art compositions. Each class will begin with a group critique of the prior artwork; then we will go into the lesson of the next material and begin working on our composition.

Week 4- Group Critique of Week 3 composition

Create a composition with a medium of choice between Graphite & Ink, Charcoal & Chalk Pastel, and Acrylic Paint, using all skills we have learned throughout the class, highlighting shape, tone/color, shading, etc.

Week 5- Finishing Final Composition, Final Critique

To reduce the cost of the class, students will be required to purchase materials. A class materials list is provided.

You can either sign up for a double session of Weeks 4 & 5 (2/6 & 2/13), or sign up for the entire series every Thursday from 1/16-2/13.
