Draw Your Feelings: Mapping the Parts of Us
Advertisement
About this workshop:
This is a chance to meet the emotions within us; to get connected to our inner world and begin to draw them out as simple shapes and patterns. Over the course of the morning, we will practice “untangling” the many emotions we hold, and developing a visual vocabulary to draw them out.
This is an interactive workshop. We'll be creating art, but we'll also be processing, journaling, and sharing with others as a way of deepening the experience.
No art experience is necessary — this isn't about making something good, it's about making something honest.
Date: Saturday, September 12
Time: 9:30am – 12:00pm
Location: Bhaktivedanta Institute, Gainesville
Capacity: 10 participants max
Price: $45 per person — includes all art supplies and snacks
What's included:
✏️ Guided drawing, journaling, and reflection exercises
✏️ All art supplies and paper provided
✏️ Complimentary snacks
✏️ Take-home freebies (stickers,etc)
Format A 2.5 hour-creative session, held in a small group to keep the space intimate and unhurried. We'll move through guided prompts together, with quiet drawing and journaling time in between, and space to share with the group as we go.
