Draw the Trees of Newington Green in this free workshop

A 2 hour drawing class, for over 16's, exploring the trees in Newington Green. In the first part Babette will introduce the trees in the park and we'll take a short walk together to take a closer look at the trees, taking note of anything we find interesting. After we've come back together as a group and shared what we noticed, Babette will run through a few playful creative writing and drawing exercises to help the participants get familiar with the drawing materials, get in the creative flow and reflect on what they observed. Finally, you'll will get the opportunity to make an observational drawing inspired by the more abstract, expressive exercises you've just done.
