Draw Summer Picnic

Come join us in Preston Park for the annual Draw summer picnic! Anybody with an interest in drawing is welcome, whether you’ve been to our sessions before or not. It is a free, relaxed opportunity to come sketch from costumed models or just to join our communal picnic – the picnic is a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones and is open to everybody who would like to come along. If the weather isn’t on our side we’ll move to a sheltered location – just check the Draw Instagram for updates if it is a bad-weather day! For those that can’t join us in person we’ll share a Zoom link to the costumed drawing portion of the picnic on the Draw Patreon for all supporters.

What you need to bring

Bring your own materials, sketchbooks, picnic food & parasols! Dress in your summer best.

Finding us

We’ll be on the lawn next to Preston Manor, just beyond the main expanse of Preston Park. Watch out for a gaggle of a sketchbook-wielding arty types with a sign that says ‘Draw’. Call 07805201057 if you can’t find us.
