During this workshop we will reflect (theoretically and experientially) on dramaturgy as a bridge between your piece and the audience. Participants will learn the basic and more important dramaturgical concepts before applying them to previous works and to a sketch of a new piece.
For whom
This workshop is aimed at artists of all disciplines who want to incorporate dramaturgy as a tool for their creations.
Objectives
– Learn the main dramaturgical concepts
– Put together a “dramaturgy toolkit” for the creation of your own pieces
– Learn the difference between classical dramaturgy and the current state of dramaturgy (so you can choose your own path)
– Experiment with all the elements of the toolkit to learn not only through theory but also through practice.
– Become aware of your preconceptions in order to question, expand, and modify them, and thus let them have a concrete effect on your artistic practice.
