Lets walk together!

Led by Allie Madden, this walking group meets Wednesdays at Dragoon Gulch. Please find us on the bridge between the Rotary Park (little league field) and the Live Well Center.

This walking group is what we call here at Blue Zones Project a walking moai. Moai (pronounced moh-eye) is a concept from Okinawa, Japan that means coming together for a common purpose. The Okinawans are some of the world’s longest living people who join together to support each other in times of need. Walking Moais, or walking groups, encourage that same social support while adding the extra emotional and physical benefits of walking.
