Dragon boating is a high-energy water sport where teams race in long, ornately decorated boats featuring fierce dragon heads and tails. Each crew of up to 17 paddlers works in perfect harmony, guided by the beat of their drummer – the true heartbeat of the boat.
Whether you're a seasoned paddler or a total beginner, this event is all about teamwork, timing, and technique. No experience? No problem! We’ll provide full training and all equipment on the day – just bring your enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
Perfect for corporate teams, this is the ultimate team-building challenge. You’ll race in at least three heats, aiming to clock the fastest time and earn a spot in the Grand Final, where gold, silver, and bronze medals – and the coveted Shakespeare Hospice Champions Trophy – await the winners.
