The Yassification of Ebenezer Scrooge is a traditional Christmas pageant reimagined through a queer lens. Based on Charles Dicken’s classic A Christmas Carol, the audience follows Ebenezer Scrooge as he is guided by three drag queen spirits on a transformative journey. Together, they help him release shame and anger, embrace his true self, and rediscover the joy of community.Featuring performances by Bobbi Jo Blessings, Brandi Marx, Kara Sutra, Jezebel Johnson, and Sid Seedy, this spiritually inclusive, family-friendly event also includes a reflective meditation and a holiday gift drive benefiting Lambert House and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

🏥Seattle Children’s Hospital supports patients and families through its Child Life Department. Their Heartwarming Drive ensures children and teens in care receive inclusive toys and books that bring joy, reduce stress, and offer comfort.
