Draft Horses in America

A presentation on the important role that draft horses played in the founding or America before the age of mechanization.
About this Event

America was built in large part thanks to the efforts of thousands of draft horses the age before mechanization. Christie Harrison of Flying H Farm, a private 100-acre equestrian and aviation property located in Union Bridge, Md. will present a history of the Heavy Breeds. The Harrison family actively breed and raise their Flying H Belgians and frequently participate in regional draft shows, such as the Howard County Fair. Attendees will have the chance to meet and greet members of teh breed!
