Dr Trevor Ntlhola: "1976: Fifty years later…"

We are about to mark the 50th anniversary of the Soweto uprising. In Old Testament times, the 50th year was the year of Jubilee, a year of release, restoration and renewal.
Trevor Ntlhola grew up in Soweto, and was 9 years old in 1976. Trevor will share some stories and reflections on then and now and the journey between. What was it like to grow up under apartheid, what is it like for young people today growing up under democracy? On this Jubilee anniversary, where do we find ourselves – and specifically where are Christians?
Trevor is a pastor of the Association of Vineyard Churches, where he has pastored churches ranging from Soweto to Randburg. He is the co-founder & chairperson of the Emthonjeni Fountain of Life NGO based in the South of Gauteng. Trevor is a strong believer and activist in reconciliation work.
