About this Event
Before Dr Packer and Casual Connection, there were Greg Packer and Special Lucas, two Drum & Bass DJs with a shared love for Soul, Funk, Disco and Disco Rap.
Back in the mid-2000s, they were collecting stacks of records they loved but had nowhere to play them. So they decided to throw their own parties. They called them BOOGALOO, inspired by their mutual respect for legendary 80s breakdancer Boogaloo Shrimp.
Those early parties played a big part in shaping what would later become Dr Packer and Casual Connection, and eventually saw them touring together.
Now, two decades later, it feels like the right time to bring BOOGALOO back.
Two old mates. Intimate Venue. Plenty of tunes. The same love for the music that started it all.
