Second Congregational Church will welcome Maria Sirois, an inspirational speaker. She has spent the past three decades striving to bring the stories, the tools, and the wisdom to enable any one of us to cultivate a grounded optimism, a clear sense of direction and a resilient inner strength in the moments of upheaval and opportunity. Never before has there been a more timely talk. Dr. Sirois, a positive psychologist and seminar leader who teaches internationally, is known for her wisdom, authenticity and humor. She brings invigorating research-based practices and perspectives to businesses, community, medical and religious organizations around the globe. She is the author of two books: of A Short Course in Happiness After Loss (And Other Dark, Difficult Times) and Every Day Counts. She will publish her new work (The Generous Exchange) in 2025.
