Dr. Jehad Abusalim is a Palestinian scholar, writer, and policy analyst from Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip. He serves as Executive Director of the U.S. Office of the Institute for Palestine Studies in Washington, D.C. His work focuses on Palestinian history, Zionism, and the social and political history of Gaza. He co-edited Light in Gaza: Writings Born of Fire (2022) and has contributed to numerous publications on Palestinian history, identity, and the struggle for freedom and justice.
