Based in Munich, Dr Haselsteiner has spent years volunteering with Women for Women (Reconstructing Women International), travelling to countries including Bangladesh, India and Pakistan to provide reconstructive surgery for women who have survived devastating injuries and trauma.
In this intimate conversation, she will share stories from the frontline of humanitarian medicine, the remarkable women she has met, and what she has learned about resilience, dignity and the extraordinary strength of the human spirit.

Meet Dr Inge 🎤
Dr Inge Haselsteiner is a Munich-based specialist in anaesthesia, integrative medicine and health economics. Alongside her clinical work, she volunteers with Reconstructing Women International, providing reconstructive surgery to survivors of acid attacks, burns and domestic violence across South Asia. Her work combines medical expertise with a deep commitment to restoring dignity, hope and opportunity for women facing unimaginable challenges.
