Dr Clare Bailey Mosley (G '79) is continuing the legacy of her late husband Michael Mosley's projects, focused on health and well-being. Their son, Dr Jack Mosley has written a groundbreaking guide, building on his father's legacy, to combine easy-to-understand medical insight with real-life stories and practical advice."Eating Together: a recipe for healthier, happier parenting" explores the powerful benefits of family mealtimes for children's wellbeing, behaviour and development, offering practical advice alongside delicious recipes to bring families together around the table.
"Food Noise: How weight loss medications and smart nutrition can silence your cravings" explains how the voice in your head telling you to look for your next meal or snack can be relentless and deafening, making it increasingly difficult to eat well and to sustain a healthy weight. "Food Noise" weighs up the pros and cons of the so-called 'miracle' GLP-1 drugs such as Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro.
Clare and Jack will discuss these two important propositions; there will be a Q&A. Copies of their books will be for sale in the foyer of the hall, where they will both be signing their books after the talk.
