About this Event

The school board shapes the future of this city. It governs the education of Detroit’s children, stewards a $1.1 billion budget, and holds the power to move a district that is one of the most improved urban school systems in the country. The people who fill those five seats matter enormously. And the voters who choose them deserve the chance to look candidates in the eye.

That is exactly what CitizenDetroit and the Detroit Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are creating on October 1, 2026.
