UTC+01:00Location
Pudsham | Newton Abbot, EN
Join author, poet, naturalist Roz Brady and author, folklorist Helen Bruce at DPA owned Pudsham Meadows. Bring a notepad and pen, lunch, tea and wine and join us for picnic and talk afterwards.
Wander through, experience and write in a wild meadow, and along the way hear stories of the meadow through the seasons.
Helen is an experienced workshop facilitator. Her life and work is imbued with a deep reverence for the land, the tales that bind us, and those of our ancestors. Roz has been fascinated with wild Nature since she ran into the Outback of Australia aged 3. Her words 'tumble like a spell or a song harnessed to a page' (Naomi Slade). Her depth of perception of the Living World is woven with the human story of our relationship with nature through time.
Together they will lead you into the stunning ecology of the meadows woven with intervals of writing and readings from Roz's Pudsham Stories through the Seasons:
So come to an ancient flower meadow in full Summer. Among the colours and scents of orchids, wild mint and foxgloves be lulled into a vivid Living World and (learn how to?) deepen your experience through your own nature writing. Please stay and join us for talk and lunch afterwards.
