About this Event
LiftFund is a nonprofit small business champion that supports small businesses with affordable financing and business education. We've partnered with local organizations to create the Doña Ana Small Business Program and help you start or grow your small business.
The objective of this session:
- Learn how to manage the different areas of business in order to keep on top of things and make a profit. This includes hiring, training, and managing employees.
- Explore how to manage family members and good and bad employees.
- Learn about the concepts of profit, loss, and break even.
- Discuss what to do if a busiconcepts of profit, loss, and break even.ness is not profitable.
- Review the components of a Profit and Loss Statement.
- Consider some reasons why a business may not make a profit and how to correct this.
- Learn what to do when a business is profitable.
- Consider how to manage time, money, and information.
- Enter information into a business plan.
