Join us for a day where creativity, community, and shopping come together in the heart of Downtown Elk River!
On **Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM**, the **Downtown Elk River Business Association** invites you to explore downtown like never before during **Downtown's Day of Creativity**.
✨ **Here's how it works:**
Visit participating downtown businesses to receive a **FREE art kit** *(one per person while supplies last)* and event punch card. Art kits will be available for a variety of ages—from kids to adults—so everyone can join the fun!
🎨 **Experience art in action!**
Watch talented local artists as they demonstrate their creative skills at select downtown locations throughout the day. A demonstration schedule will be posted before the event so you can plan your stops.
🛍️ **Explore. Create. Win!**
Take your event punch card and visit participating businesses throughout downtown. Collect punches from at least **half of the locations** to be entered into our **community prize drawing**. **No purchase is necessary** to participate.
📸 **Share your masterpiece!**
Complete your art project, snap a photo, and tag the **Downtown Elk River Business Association** on social media for a chance to have your artwork featured on our social media pages and/or website!
