Downtown Worcester Community Meeting | September 2026
Join us for the first meeting of the 2026–27 season on Friday, September 11, from 9 to 10 am at August Coffee (548 Main Street), one of Downtown Worcester’s newest spots for great coffee and community.
Co-owner Madison Martin will share the story behind opening August Coffee with longtime friend Allison Moss and bringing their new small business to Main Street.
Thinking about starting a Downtown business of your own? Vaske Gjino from the City of Worcester’s Economic Development team will also be there to chat about resources available to entrepreneurs and answer your questions.
This season, we’re taking our Community Meetings to more places and spaces across Downtown, introducing you to some of the people making things happen here, and sharing information and insights about Downtown that we think you’ll want to know.
We also want to help you make the connections you’re looking for. Need a resource or introduction? Want to meet more of the people who live, work, own businesses, and spend time Downtown? Come — and let us know!
Whether you’ve been to every Downtown Worcester Community Meeting to date or you’ve never joined us before, this is your invitation.
Come reconnect after summer break. Meet someone new. Learn something about Downtown you didn’t know before. Bring a friend or colleague.
☕️ And, as always, complimentary coffee and breakfast are on us!
Downtown Worcester Community Meetings are free and open to everyone.
