Downtown Sycamore Chalk Walk

DAY OF REGISTRATION will be available at the Discover Sycamore tent on the courthouse lawn for $35. Day of registrstion is from 9am to 10am.

Join us for the Downtown Sycamore Chalk Walk, a vibrant celebration of creativity and community! Artists aged 12 and up are invited to register through Eventbrite for $25, securing their spot with a sidewalk square around the DeKalb County Courthouse and chalk to create their masterpieces.

Event Highlights:

• Art Competition: Artists will transform the sidewalks into colorful canvases. Winners announced at 3 PM, with $900 in cash prizes awarded from our prize pool to the top creators.
• Viewer Participation: Stroll through the artwork and vote for your favorite artist using tokens.
• Food and Fun: Enjoy a variety of food trucks, refreshing lemonade, and delightful cotton candy.
• Children’s section: Children 11 and under are able to participate for free in the children’s section!
