Downtown Sessions, open mic and music night is the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The local music scene takes shape at The Great Room at the ASK Art Center, 97 Broadway, Kingston NY. Downtown Sessions doors’ open at 7 PM and ends at 9 PM.Inspired by the NYC loft scene, the Downtown Sessions draw together songwriters, performers & instrumentalists with a diversity of musical influences.
An Open Mic meets Jam Session, local songwriters are invited to perform originals or covers while joined by a live band.
The series builds on the international performance experience of its hosts:
