Join us for a special After-Hours program, 60 Years of Stories, an evening of history, film, and community connection. Light refreshments will be provided.6:00 pm – Doors open
6:15 pm – Opening announcements
6:30 pm – Panel discussion and viewing of "A Black Springs Homecoming: Finding History," a film directed by Tsanavi Spoonhunter and presented by Nevada Humanities
Bomb shelter tours will be available throughout the evening.
For a limited time, we’ll be offering public guided tours that give visitors a rare behind-the-scenes look at this unique space and its place in local history. Whether you’re a longtime library supporter or a first-time visitor, this is a special opportunity to discover a hidden part of the library you may never have seen before.
Please note: The bomb shelter is not ADA accessible and requires navigating stairs and tight spaces. Participants must be 18 years or older to participate. A waiver of liability must be signed on site prior to the tour.
