A twist on the classic poker run

Grand Prize: 2 Detroit Lions tickets to the November 23 game | Detroit Lions vs. NY Giants

Why are we doing this? As the DDA we promote and support our downtown businesses. Sometimes all you need is a little incentive to explore new stores, businesses and restaurants. That’s where we come in!

How to START

REGISTER: Register for FREE on Eventbrite. *You must register to win the Lions tickets.

GET YOUR FIRST CARD:

• Pick up your first card with instructions and a map at any of the participating businesses STARTING FRIDAY, JUNE 27 OR 2. Stop by the DDA tent at any of the Cruise-Ins & Concerts June 27, July 25, or August 22, 5-8 PM.

How to COLLECT CARDS

Objective: Collect as many three-of-a-kind hands as you can for a chance to win the grand prize!

• Visit participating downtown Jackson businesses during regular business hours.
• Politely ask for a playing card—limit one card per person per location per day.

If staff are assisting paying customers, please wait patiently.

Wild Card BONUS: Spend $10 or more at a participating business and receive a Gold Card—a wild card you can use in place of any card to complete a three-of-a-kind.

Limit two wild cards per hand. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase does not increase your chances of winning.

How to Enter your hand

Once you have a three-of-a-kind, place the cards in a sealed envelope with the following info:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Mailing address

Then submit it one of two ways:

• Drop it in the City of Jackson box in front of City Hall OR 2. Bring it to the DDA tent at one of the Cruise-In events

There’s no limit to how many hands you can submit—so keep collecting! Good luck and have fun exploring Downtown Jackson!

What can you WIN!

Downtown Gift Basket: At each Cruise-In (June through September), we’ll draw one lucky

winner to receive a Downtown Gift Basket filled with goodies from local businesses!

Detroit Lions Tickets: At our final Cruise-In on September 26, we’ll draw one grand prize

winner from all entries to receive 2 tickets to the Detroit Lions vs. New York Giants game!

Fine Print

• One card per business, per visit. Don’t try to scam the system—we see you.
• You may only hold 5 cards at a time—trade, swap, or ditch before grabbing more!
• Wild cards are only given when you spend $10+ at participating businesses.
• Cards must be collected during the promotion window: June 27 - September 26, 2025
• All entries must be submitted by September 26 at 5:30 PM at the DDA tent.
• You must register to win.
• The winner will be drawn live at the Cruise-In, Sept 26. Presence not required to win.

Collecting more cards by visiting more businesses gives you more chances to enter!
