During Main Street Alliance Final Fridays, in conjunction with the Downtown Detective Contest, join us for a free downtown walking tour. We will meet at Zook Coffee (320 E. Main Street in the Carnation Center building). The tour will last about 30 minutes and will visit stops 16-24 of the Clio East Main Street Historic District Walking Tour.
Did you know Alliance was a significant center of travel and commerce around the turn of the 20th century? Learn about the past grandeur of Alliance, the commercial and residential history of some downtown landmarks, as well as their unique architectural features that can still be seen today.
Arrive a few minutes early to order a coffee drink or smoothie to go from Zook Coffee. Participants on the tour will receive gifts from our Downtown Detective Contest sponsors!
