ECDI hosts these town hall-style meeting for Downtown business owners, staff, organizations, and residents. They serve as a way to communicate, create, brainstorm and work together to better downtown. The typical agenda starts with introductions and announcements from business owners, and then rolls to reports from Elizabeth City Downtown, Inc., the EC Area Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Elizabeth City. We discuss upcoming events and activities, especially those that may impact downtown businesses; items of concern; projects; new businesses; and good news.
The 2026 Meetings will rotate to different locations, so please make note of the meeting location. Some businesses requested evening meetings, so we have alternated meeting times.
2026 Meetings are scheduled on:
o January 27, 2026, 9:00-10:30 am – Ghost Harbor Brewing Company, 602 E. Colonial
o April 28, 2026, 5:00-6:30 pm – Madhouse Dance Fit, 212 N. Martin Luther King
o July 28, 2026, 9:00-10:30 am – Pine & Porch, 105 E. Colonial
o October 27, 2026, 5:00-6:30 pm – Seven Sounds Brewing Company, 112 N. Water
