Downtown Employee Appreciation Week Pickleball Tournament

Join us for a Pickleball Tournament at Red Arrow Park! All skill levels welcome, pre-registration with a partner required.
About this Event

Schedule

• 3:00–5:00 PM: Check-In & Open Practice Courts
• Practice courts will be available for warm-ups and casual play.
• All teams should arrive during this time to check in and be ready for tournament play.
• 5:00–8:00 PM: Tournament Play
• Matches will begin promptly at 5:00 PM.
• Teams not checked in by the designated check-in deadline may forfeit their first match.

Registration Requirements

1. Players must register with a teammate. Individual registrations will not be accepted.
2. Both teammates' names and contact information are required during registration.
3. Teams must indicate their skill level when registering to help create balanced matchups.

Skill Level Options

• Beginner – New to pickleball or limited tournament experience.
• Intermediate – Comfortable with game strategy and consistent play.
• Advanced – Experienced players with strong competitive skills.

Tournament organizers reserve the right to adjust divisions if necessary to ensure fair competition.

Tournament Information

• Paddles and balls will be provided if you don't have your own.
• Tournament format will be round robin format.
• All games will follow USA Pickleball rules unless otherwise noted by tournament staff.
• Match assignments and court locations will be announced at check-in.
• Winners are responsible for reporting scores immediately after each match.
• Each game will play to 11, win by 2.
• The team with the most points througout the whole bracket will win.
• We will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each skill level bracket.

Important Reminders

• Please arrive on time. Keeping the tournament on schedule depends on all teams being present and ready to play.
• Players should wear appropriate athletic clothing.
• Bring your own paddle. Game balls will be provided.
• Water stations will be available, but players are encouraged to bring their own refillable water bottles.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct or abusive language may result in disqualification at the discretion of tournament organizers.
• By registering, participants acknowledge that they are playing at their own risk and release the event organizers and venue from liability for injuries or lost personal property.
