Cedar Falls Downtown District businesses have big hearts and are partnering with a different non-profit each month to have a give -back event where they will be donating back to a non-profit! This month's non-profit: UNI Dance Marathon!
UNI Dance Marathon is a student run organization that raises money for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network. Throughout the year, all money that is raised through UNI Dance Marathon is put toward supporting four areas at the hospital; research, education, equipment and enhancements.The University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital first opened in 1919 and since then has helped countless children with crisis of traumatic injury and life-threatening illness, from birth defects to developmental disabilities. While we provide financial support to the hospital, our organization also provides emotional support to the families affected by childhood illnesses and injuries.
