Spread hope, share kindness, and connect with the community at the Downtown Day Services Center Summer Community Engagement Event. In partnership with the (MPD), the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) invites you to spend the morning learning more about the Downtown Day Services Center (DDSC) and the collective efforts to support Downtown DC’s unhoused community.

On Friday, June 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., stop by the Downtown Day Services Center to enjoy catered refreshments, get to know the DDSC staff and local organizations, and learn more about the DowntownDC BID’s mission to create a more welcoming and supportive Downtown for all.

The event will feature remarks from Ishan Heru, the DowntownDC BID's Director of Homeless Services, along with community resource tables from HIPS, Pathways to Housing DC, h3 Project, and DowntownDC Foundation.

Come out, spark meaningful interactions, and be part of a community effort that makes a difference in Downtown DC.
