Downtown Bozeman Art Walk with Elaine Hansard
About Elaine
For more than 25 years, bronze sculptor Elaine Hansard has created sculptures that invite people to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the natural world and the stories that live within it.
Raised in Bozeman, Montana, Elaine is best known for her ability to blend realism with imagination, creating timeless bronze sculptures that celebrate both wildlife and mythology. Whether sculpting a soaring Pegasus, the Egyptian goddess Isis, or a graceful mermaid emerging from the sea, each piece is created as a symbol of strength, transformation, freedom, and the enduring connection between humanity and nature.
Working in the centuries old lost wax casting tradition, Elaine hand sculpts every original in clay before it is cast in bronze, creating heirloom quality works designed to last for generations. Her sculptures can be found in private collections across the United States and internationally.
Elaine believes that art has the power to inspire, heal, and remind us of something we already know deep within ourselves. She is honored to be Wild Wisdom’s featured artist for August and looks forward to sharing the stories behind her work and meeting collectors during the Art Walk.
