Charities Steyning Downland Scheme and Steyning Woodcraft Folk are joining forces to provide this Bushcraft session for young people aged 11- 16 year olds.
Plenty of outdoor fun to be had!
Bushcraft activities including den building, whittling and campfire cooking!
Booking is essential.
Where the money is going..
Proceeds from the days will go to further the work of both Steyning Downland Scheme and Woodcraft Folk charities. Providing youth oriented work both locally and overseas. Steyning Woodcraft Folk are currently involved in a project raising funds for university fees for Sharon and Ester.
Two students from the village of Mitoto, in Kenya, where we have had a partner Woodcraft group for the last 10 years. Sharon is studying to teach English, and Ester is studying IT.
By supporting young people from an impoverished area of Kenya to access higher education, they will be able to have a better lift for themselves and their families.
