Join us for the full two-day version of the festival on Saturday March 28 and Sunday March 29 2025!2025 Headliners:
• River Road with caller Rick Mohr both nights!
• Franklin County Fiddlers with Chrissy Fowler calling on Friday evening
• Pineland Fiddlers with Maggie Robinson calling on Saturday
The DownEast Country Dance Festival (DECDF) is an annual celebration of traditional dance and music in Maine. At the festival you can:
• Dance! contra, folk, swing, …
• Attend workshops and family activities! dancing, instrumental, singing, and more
• Perform! jam sessions and festival orchestra
• Enjoy performances! in the auditorium, the bistro, and more @ Mt Ararat Middle School
Sunday there is a Survivor's Dance (Mar 30) @ Topsham Grange with River Road and Rick Mohr. This is a separate event/ticket from the festival on Friday/Saturday.
Volunteer applications and online ticket sales will begin Feb 15.

Participation in the Downeast Country Dance Festival includes risk of exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. Attendance is at your own risk.
For the 2025 DECDF Festival, vaccination and masking are optional.

Please respect everyone’s personal choice to mask or not mask.
Symptoms or Testing Positive: If you feel unwell at all, have a positive COVID test result, or have had COVID very recently (with a positive test or symptoms beginning less than 5 days ago), please do not attend DECDF. We’ll have another Festival next year and would love to see you then!
