Nature has an incredibly powerful calming and healing effect on the nervous system. When we are present and tuned in, these effects are magnified. Nature also helps us to be more present by tantalising all of our senses with a soothing kaleidoscope of beauty, transporting us to another state, which may feel magical and otherworldly but is in fact, our natural state of being.
There is no no better way to de-stress from a fast-paced, technology saturated life than to engage consciously with nature. Nature grounds us and brings us back to reality.
This workshop will take place in our gardens and heated yurt. It will be a relaxing, nurturing space.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Siobhán Lavelle is a horticulturist/permaculturist with a degree in psychology and a background as a meditation teacher and group facilitator. She has 10+ years of meditation practice and training in Theravada Buddhism, Vigyan Bhairav Tantra and shamanism.
