** Please note there has been a change in dates for these workshops - but alas FB is making it difficult to amend!** The dates are April 13th, 1pm-4pm and May 25th, 1pm-4pm only. :)Down 2 Clown is back!
After a fabulous Feb workshop, jump in for the next sessions in April and May for more fun and games. These workshops focus on contemporary/theatre clowning rather than more traditional forms of circus clowning - no colourful wigs and kids party antics, and we won't be learning how to mime, juggle, do 'tricks' or pratfall. We will, however, explore the pleasure to play, let go, be present and both 'see' and be 'seen' by others onstage, by embracing your inner ridiculous, allowing you to celebrate your 'failures', and free yourself up from all the adult concerns of responsibility and 'coolness'. Cause who needs more of that?!
Through duo and group exercises, driven by movement and working through the body, embrace the joy in letting go of preconceived ideas of what 'funny' is, to embrace and celebrate your most silly self.
Bookings: https://www.trybooking.com/CZHME
T&Cs: In booking form, please note :)

**I recognise that this workshop will be facilitated on the unceded Aboriginal land of the muwinina people, and pay respects to their ongoing culture and traditions.
