Delaware Public Archives | Dover, DE
The residents of Dover and the surrounding plantations felt the rise of patriotism and loyalty to the mother country, but were also concerned about how it would affect them. They did not always agree, but realized they needed to work together to move forward and keep the peace in a town where everybody knew everyone and many were related to each other.
Come and explore what was happening around town during a time that tried men’s and women’s souls.
Presented by Margaret Dunham.
