Dover 4th of July Celebration

The annual Fourth of July celebration is truly one of our favorite things to do in Dover: Packed with activities and attractions for all ages, Delaware’s Quaint Villages puts on an especially memorable display for Independence Day.

Dover will be bursting with events this Fourth of July: from a historic Dover scavenger hunt to themed historic walks and food and craft vendors, it’s the perfect location for a mini-getaway. As celebrators line the streets, all of Dover’s favorite attractions will hold themed events, from the National Bell-Ringing Ceremony at The Old State House on The Green to guided tours of Legislative Hall.
