About this Event

South Wedge neighbor Rose O’Keefe promotes the connections between the Frederick and Anna Douglass family and the abolitionist circle in Rochester. Her talk will follow the Douglass family's path to Rochester and their continued presence throughout the neighborhood.

O’Keefe's latest book is All Rights for All: Working for Justice, Parts I and II (fall 2026). Her other books are available at Hipocampo Children's Books on South Avenue.

This talk is funded by the John F Wegman Foundation.
