Douglas Road is a small forest block to the south of Victoria Dam (Korung NP) surrounded on three sides by lifestyle properties. It has retained much of its birdlife and is a pleasant walk over lightly undulating terrain. To get there, travel along the Tonkin Highway and turn into Mills Road East. When you reach the end of the road, turn left into Canning Mills Road and then left again at the next road junction which is Douglas Road. About one kilometre along the road is the entrance to a communications tower where we will meet. Park on the side of the road near this but DO NOT block the entrance.
Bring a chair and morning tea to have while the bird list is compiled.
