🤠 ARE YOU A LINE DANCER? 🤠
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at teaching line dancing?
Well, now is your chance!! 🎉
Douglas County Country Dancing is holding an OPEN AUDITION for a new line dance instructor! 👢
📅 Friday, October 23rd
⏰ 7:00 PM
📍 Workman’s Bar & Smokehouse
We are looking for a new instructor to join the Workman’s teaching rotation and fill in at other locations when needed.
🎶 WHAT TO PREPARE:
Let us know in advance you will be auditioning. We can then make sure everyone has enough time to teach their dance. 🥳
Please come prepared with one beginner-level line dance to teach.
You may choose any dance as long as it is:
✔️ New dance that hasn't been taught before.
✔️ Beginner friendly
✔️ Family friendly
✔️ Free of foul language or inappropriate content
Please have the name of the dance and choreographer ready. Our judges will be checking the step sheet to make sure the dance is being taught correctly.
You will have a 30-minute window to teach and dance to the music.
📝 There will also be a questionnaire to fill out.
Want to get a head start? You can find the questionnaire in the comments of this post and fill it out ahead of time. Or, arrive a little early and complete it before your audition.
Come show us what you've got, have some fun, and maybe take the next step in your dancing journey! 🤠🔥
We can't wait to see who's ready for a BIG change! 👢❤️
