About this Event
Dough Much to Learn: Bread Traditions and Early Childhood Connections
Bread is one of the most universal foods in the world. Nearly every culture has its own version made with different ingredients, traditions, and stories. In this interactive workshop, early childhood educators will explore different kinds of bread from around the world while reflecting on how food traditions can be used to support cultural awareness, sensory learning, and classroom conversations with young children.
Participants will learn about several types of bread, discuss their cultural origins, and explore simple ways to bring food traditions into early childhood environments.
FREE for members of the NEST Support Group. $1`5 for non-members.
