SHOW SYNOPSIS:
Do you rely on gut instinct when faced with a difficult decision, or are you paralyzed by uncertainty? That very struggle lies at the heart of John Patrick Shanley’s gripping drama, “Doubt: A Parable.” Winner of both the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play, this powerful piece is set in 1964 at a Catholic school in the Bronx, during a time of cultural change and hidden tensions. As questions of faith, morality, and suspicion unfold, the characters find themselves caught in a web where the truth is elusive. When the final curtain falls, will you walk away with clarity or still be haunted by doubt?
ROLES TO BE CAST:
-Father Brendan Flynn, a priest
-Sister Aloysius, a nun and school principal
-Sister James, a younger nun
-Mrs. Muller, an African American mother
