Urban Axes Boston is hosting a Doubles Marathon league on Saturday, Nov. 16th! In Doubles, teams of 2 players share a target and both throw their axes simultaneously, for which they receive a combined score based on where each axe struck the target. Teams will play all other teams in regular season league matches and in a double-elimination playoff, making it a great way to hone your skills with an existing doubles partner or form an all-new team!
Each team of 2 players will throw 20 Standard Rules doubles matches + double elimination playoff matches! We need a minimum of 6 teams (12 members) to run the marathon league, and everyone will make the playoffs (even if we have more than 16 teams!) Practice is at 10:30am and matches begin at 11am.
