(A) AMERICAN CULTURES MERIT BADGE - Read the requirements and complete research for YOUR OWN CULTURE and ONE MORE CULTURE by FEBRUARY 10 for all of the requirements listed at:

1) Full participation in the Lunar New Year of the Snake Festival at Disney California Adventure Park on February 16 with Dragonauts Crew 333 and other Scouts on the Roster will lead to a complete sign off on the blue card.

(B) COOKING MERIT BADGE - Read the requirements by FEBRUARY 10:

1) The Cooking Merit Badge is a Partial on February 16 for Requirements 1, 2, 3, and 7.

2) Scouts should plan to design and create their menus for Requirements 4, 5, and 6 for approval by the Cooking Merit Badge Counselor by MARCH 1 before they can begin cooking.

3) Menus planned for the Cooking Merit Badge Requirement 5 or Requirement 6 CANNOT be used for RANK ADVANCEMENT per Scouting America.

4) Meal Plan for Cooking Merit Badge Requirement 4, 5, and 6 must be uploaded as photos or PDFs to Dragonauts Troop 333 group on the BAND app. The link to join will be shared via Eventbrite Email on FEBRUARY 15.

5) All Communications between the Scout and the Counselor will take place on the Band app.

6) If necessary, follow up meetings will be either virtual on Zoom or in-person after a Dragon Boat practice In San Pedro on Second Sundays of the month.

7) Final Meeting with the Cooking Merit Badge Counselor to sign off in person will be EITHER ONE OF THE FOLLOWING based on the scout's completion of requirements:

(a) SUNDAY MAY 4 AT DOWNTOWN DISNEY STARBUCKS BY WORLD OF DISNEY AT 7:00 PM.

(b) SUNDAY AUGUST 3 AT CABRILLO MARINA IN SAN PEDRO AT 10:30 AM.

NOTES - PLEASE READ ALL LISTED BELOW CAREFULLY:

1) You are responsible for securing your own Travel and Parking expenses at the Disneyland Resort.

2) ALL SCOUTS MUST WEAR THEIR SCOUT UNIFORM THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MERIT BADGE SESSION.

3) THIS IS NOT A DROP OFF FOR ANY SCOUT. All Scouts must be accompanied by ONE BSA ADULT registered to their UNIT at the maximum ratio of 4 SCOUTS TO 1-BSA ADULT.

4) FEBRUARY 16 IS THE FINAL WEEKEND OF THE LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION AT DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE PARK - IT WILL BE CROWDED.

5) ALL SCOUTING ADULTS ACCOMPANYING SCOUTS MUST HAVE COMPLETED BSA YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING AND AB506 MANDATED REPORTER TRAINING. PLEASE BRING PROOF TO CHECK IN WITH DRAGONAUTS CREW 333 AT 1:00 PM IN FRONT OF CARTHAY CIRCLE.

6) PLEASE PURCHASE YOUR SIP-AND-SAVOR-PASS BEFORE CHECKING IN AT 1:00 PM ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 16.

7) Everyone - Scout BSA and Adult BSA - attending must bring their own completed copy of this Activity Waiver to check in for ANY Dragonauts Crew 333 event.

8) THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FROM DISNEY - CHANGES OCCUR WHEN THE MINIMUM HEADCOUNT IS NOT MET. SESSION RUNS REGARDLESS OF RAIN.
