About this Event
Join DOROT for an openhearted conversation about life's final chapter. Over tea, coffee and pastry, we provide a welcoming space to share, listen and reflect. DOROT's Death Dialogues are inspired by the Death Café movement, where people, often strangers, gather over light food and drink to talk about dying. The aim of DOROT's Death Dialogues is to make the most of our lives by increasing awareness of our mortality.
Depending on the number of people participating, you will meet in groups of 5-8 and talk about whatever compels you around death and dying. It is asked that people participate with an open mind and spirit, respect all points of view, and speak and listen with no particular agenda, objective, or themes. Overall, we hope DOROT's Death Dialogues helps increase your awareness of death and dying with a view to helping you make the most of your (finite) life. And while anyone is welcome to attend DOROT's Death Dialogues, please note that it is not a support or therapy group to address personal difficulties. We hope to see you there!
Please Note: Capacity is limited. If you will not be able to participate, please inform us at [email protected], so that we can offer your place to another registrant.
Please reach out to [email protected] with any accessibility questions or requests.
