Dornsife Day Trip at The Wrigley Marine Science Center on Catalina Island

Join USC Dornsife alumni for an intimate excursion to the Wrigley Marine Science Center on Catalina Island. Experience an exclusive tour of the campus, interactive touch tanks, guided hikes and snorkeling. Space is limited to 32 guests. Ticket includes round-trip transportation to WMSC on USC vessel Miss Christi, breakfast, lunch, and exclusive USC Dornsife giveaways. No refunds will be issued after Aug. 31.

About The Philip K. Wrigley Marine Science Center (WMSC): WMSC is the Wrigley Institute’s satellite campus for research and education. Surrounded by Catalina Island hills and a gorgeous marine protected area, the campus is a living lab for students and researchers engaged in environmental and sustainability courses, lab work, and field studies. WMSC’s location near Los Angeles and the campus’s pristine surroundings provide unique opportunities to compare the environmental effects of conservation and human activity, conduct immersive investigations into biodiversity and ecology, test new sustainability solutions, and more. • The WMSC is in a remote location with limited access to products, equipment, and other resources. Vegan and vegetarian options are available with all meals. However, not all dietary restrictions or food allergies can be guaranteed. More details here

Info: USC vessel Miss Christi will depart promptly at 8:30 a.m. from SCMI. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated. Approximate travel time from SCMI to WMSC is 90 minutes.
