Dork leger anti-hero, når hun synger om ghosting og at lyve omkring det, på debut-EP’en ‘I’m not a good person.’; En 4-track EP, som udforsker de grimme sider af jeg’et.
På sin debut-EP, kombinerer Dork groovy guitar-baseret indierock med dreampop og bittersød garagerock. Teksterne tegner et billede af en doven, asocial og selvironisk hovedperson i feel-bad-indie universet. Her balancerer Dork mellem spydighed og sørgmodighed i nonchalante og charmerende sange om sin egen utilstrækkelighed.
Dork er det musikalske alias for sangskriver og musiker Lærke Simoni. For Simoni fungerer musikken både som eskapisme og som en form for terapi i et liv præget af overtænkning og følelser af fremmedhed. Lead single ‘Legs’ har fået en varm modtagelse på den danske musikscene med rotation på P6-BEAT og omtale i kulturmagasinet Soundvenue. Soundvenue skriver; “‘Legs’ er en charmerende, skramlet omgang indierock med spydig deadpan-humor a la Rhian Teasdale fra Wet Leg.”
Med intime og dynamiske liveshows, inviterer Dork dig ind i sin melankolske verden.

Ondskyld er et syvpersoners rockband fra København. Musikken ligger mellem gør- det-selvpunk og storslået poprockballade à la Carpenters med vægt på nuancerede, sjove, inderlige og relaterbare sange på dansk. Fra punken er der en dyb kærlighed til højt energiniveau og til at gøre tingene forkert. Sangene er overvældede, klodsede, introspektive, hektiske, romantiske, kærlige, sentimentale, poetisk flyvske, hyper konkrete, sjæl- og sorgfulde -
Ondskyld kommer det hele i blenderen. Livets helt store følelser og kedelige detaljer bliver til en grovkornet smoothie af afmagt, humor og optimisme. Bandet har i år udgivet deres debut, break-up EP’en ’Hjertesorg Sommerrock 2024’; en håndfuld av-mit-hjerte rockslaskere, med nedslag fra en rigtig ensom lortesommer, livetracket direkte på kasettebånd. Ondskyld har de sidste par år markeret sig på scenen med en del airplay af singlen ’Kundeservice’, to interviews i DEBUT på P6 BEAT og en række nærværende koncerter rundt om i landet.
Sidste efterår var de i studiet og indspille debutalbummet ’Fuld Affekt’, hvorfra første single er lige på trapperne. Ondskyld undskylder for deres utilstrækkelighed, selv om der ikke er en skid at undskylde for. ”Vi gør vores bedste, og det er godt nok. Dork
Dork plays anti-hero when she sings about ghosting and lying about it, on her debut EP ‘I’m not a good person.’; A 4-track EP that explores the ugly sides of the self.
On her debut EP, Dork combines groovy guitar-based indie rock with dream pop and bittersweet garage rock. The lyrics paint a picture of a lazy, antisocial and self-deprecating protagonist in the feel-bad-indie universe. Here, Dork balances between sarcasm and sadness in nonchalant and charming songs about her own inadequacy.
Dork is the musical alias of songwriter and musician Lærke Simoni. For Simoni, music functions both as escapism and as a form of therapy in a life marked by overthinking and feelings of alienation. Lead single ‘Legs’ has received a warm reception on the Danish music scene with rotation on P6-BEAT and mention in the cultural magazine Soundvenue. Soundvenue writes; “‘Legs’ is a charming, scrappy indie rock with wry deadpan humor a la Rhian Teasdale from Wet Leg.”

Ondskyld
Ondskyld is a seven-piece rock band from Copenhagen. The music lies between DIY punk and grand pop rock ballads à la Carpenters with an emphasis on nuanced, funny, heartfelt and relatable songs in Danish. From punk there is a deep love for high energy levels and doing things wrong. The songs are overwhelmed, clumsy, introspective, hectic, romantic, loving, sentimental, poetically flighty, hyper concrete, soulful and sorrowful -
Ondskyld puts it all in the blender. Life's big emotions and boring details become a coarse-grained smoothie of powerlessness, humor and optimism. This year, the band released their debut, the break-up EP 'Hjertesorg Sommerrock 2024'; a handful of heart-wrenching rock stunners, with a touch of a really lonely shitty summer, live-tracked directly to cassette tape. Ondskyld has made a name for itself on stage in the last few years with a lot of airplay for the single ‘Kundeservice’, two interviews in DEBUT on P6 BEAT and a number of upcoming concerts around the country.
Last autumn they were in the studio recording their debut album ‘Full Affect’, from which the first single is just around the corner. Ondskyld apologize for their inadequacy, even though there is nothing to apologize for. “We do our best, and that is good enough.
