As part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, 9-15th October there will be a Ribbon Display, hosted by The Forget-Me-Not group.
Loss of a baby or pregnancy is heart-breaking, this is happening to families across the UK everyday. During Baby Loss Awareness Week, we want to create a special display to remember all the baby’s lost and we invite you to join us in remembering yours.
Ribbons displaying the names of the babies being remembered are invited to be added to the the Band Stand in Borough Gardens from the 9th October and will remain in place till the 15th. The gardens are open 8am - 6pm daily.
Please bring along your own ribbons, these can be personalised with babies name and/or a message. Simply tie them to the bandstand by knotting them around the rail.
Once the display has come to an end on the 15th October all ribbons will be removed by Thursday 17th October. If you would like to keep your ribbon, you are welcome to collect it on the 16th October. Unfortunately, we cannot hold on to the ribbons for collection after this date.
