About this Event

Join the 2026 Dorchester County 4-H Teen Council’s Supply Drive for Dorchester County PAWS! On Saturday, August 8 from 3-6p, our Teen Council and other Dorchester County 4-H youth, volunteers, and families will be at Katie’s Krops flagship garden at 505 Gahagan Rd, Summerville BEHIND Crossroads Community Church to make treats and toys for the cats and dogs at the Dorchester PAWS shelter in Summerville.

Dorchester PAWS is a local 501(c)(3)and community animal shelter that takes in all lost, abandoned, and abused animals, providing them with food, shelter, medical care, and ultimately, a chance for a loving forever home. They have been in operation is 1972 and are the only known open-admission shelter in the county.

This event is open to all ages. We will be sitting under tents with fans to beat the heat, and there will be hydration stations to keep everyone cool! There will be music and refreshments available as well!
