PRE ENTRIES will open 4/1 at 8am and will close 4/3 at 5pm
We WILL take entries the day of the show when office opens. Draw outs need to be done before noon on race day. Please message Mendy 239-462-1404. Draw outs done AFTER pre-entries have closed will NOT receive a refund.
Add ons or changes are welcome day of race before office closes.
Pre-Draw will be posted Friday April 3rd.
Entries are CASH ONLY on site.
Exhibitions 4:00 PM. - 6:00 PM.

Or $20 unlimited.
Timed exhibition will be offered at the end of the show $10 each.

Classes:
Classes are determined by the age of the entrant as of Aug 1st of the given year.

You may ride in, or carry to any of the below classes.
Youth 3D - $25
(18 and Under)
Adult 3D - $25
(Ages 19-49)
Masters 3D - $25
(50 and Over)
Senior Horse - $25
(20+ Horse)
Order of Go:
Open Poles, Youth Poles, Peewee Barrels, Open Barrels, Youth Barrels, Adult & Masters will run together. (Adult & Masters will combine draw, but score separately) Timed Exhibitions to follow.
Payouts:
PeeWee Barrel, Youth Poles and Timed only runs do not payout.
For all classes below are 70/30 cash payout. Any added money will be applied at 100%.
Open Poles, Open 4D, Youth 3D, Adult 3D, Masters 3D and Senior Horse.
Ground Rules:
-No alcohol on rodeo grounds.
-All Contestants should clean up their areas & have all trash thrown in trash cans provided.
-Trainers shall be responsible for any rule infraction insurer by their students and are responsible for ensuring any fines are paid.
-Contestants shall be responsible for any rule infraction incurred by anyone within their party and subject to fines and disqualification.
Standings and Volunteer Time:
-Contestants must attend 4 out of 5 races and have all 4 hours of volunteer time to be eligible for awards.
-Awards are based off standings and qualifications (number of volunteer hours and races run)
-Hours will be tracked and posted after each race
-Volunteers must have half their hours worked by the 3rd race to remain eligible for awards.
-If the number of volunteer hours are not met by the 3rd race, the contestant will no longer be eligible for awards and will be removed from standings.
-The eligible person with the fastest time in each division per class will receive 10 points. The next fastest will receive 9 points and so on and so forth until the 10th fastest time in the division receives 1 point. If there are not enough members to receive all 10 points, then only the top members will receive points. If there is a tie, then the members with the same fastest time will receive the same numeric value of points. However, the points would skip a number before being allowed to the next fastest time.
-The points system restarts for each division within each class.
-The point system is based on horse and rider combo.
-The highest points in each division and class at the end of the series will reflect the winners. If there is a tie for a buckle, the tie will be broken by the fastest horse/rider combo or, flip a coin.
-Top 3 in each division will receive prizes.
-Classes eligible for points.
-Poles 1D
-Open 1D, 2D, 3D, 4D
-Youth 1D, 2D, 3D
-Adults 1D, 2D, 3D
-Masters 1D, 2D, 3D
-Contestants must be present and/or have made arrangements to have a delegate receive the series D buckle on their behalf. If neither the cotestant nor the delegate is present the buckle will go to the next runner up.
-Contestants must be present to receive any of the finalist or top 3 awards.
Barrel Race Rules:
-Absolutely no Abuse of horse in any way.
-No Competing while under the influence of drugs or alcohol
-Knocking over a barrel results in a no time in the Classes
-Going off pattern results in a no time
-Contestants given a no-time may complete the pattern. Show management may, at its discretion ask a rider who is taking excessive time to leave the arena.
-Show management has the right to disqualify any horse/rider combination that does not begin the performance within two minutes of the time the rider has been called.
-An electronic timer will be used for all riders. Should the timer not function, a rerun will be immediately performed after the event is complete, after a drag, or at the show manager's discretion
-No rider substitutions will be permitted after check-in
-Misidentifying a horse at any race during this series can result in a disqualification.
-Show manager at their sole discretion shall have the authority to disqualify or deny entry to any horse they deem dangerous to the rider, or to other individuals, animals or property.
-Any participant who competes out of turn or before the name was called will be disqualified
-Contestant may enter any number of horses per division, but a horse can only run once per class. Exception: For Peewee or youth classes only, siblings may share a horse, however that horse may only run twice for that given class. The exception requires show management approval.
-Any questions or disputes not covered by the governing rulebook will be settled by the show manager whose decision will be final.
**Warning**
UNDER FLORIDA LAW, AN EQUINE ACTIVITY SPONSORS OR PROFESSIONAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY TO IR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RICKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.
